Composed entirely of 5052 H32 & 6061 T6 aluminum, it featured dimensions of 14" in length, 9" in width, 10" in height, and was fabricated to tolerances of ±.010". Fabrication required the aluminum sheet to be laser cut on our Mazak HTX 510, the sheet was then formed on an Advantage press brake. Other components were machined and TIG welded into place, with hardware being installed using our Autosert hardware inserter. The enclosure was painted gray and silkscreened with white.
